Star Wars: The Force Awakens Character Images Revealed on Mexican Collectible

FullSizeRenderWe received an e-mail from RagingBully, sending in a photo that reveals new character reference photos from the upcoming Star Wars Episode VII:  The Force Awakens.

The item is a Mexican Force Awakens Hot & Cold Beverage Container.  On it is a clear image of new droid BB-8, as well as classic droids C-3PO and R2-D2.

C-3PO is clearly shown having a new brownish-red arm (similar to the color of the Battle Droids in Attack of the Clones).

Click the image for a full resolution shot, and thanks to Raging Bully for the information!

Walgreens Exclusive Funko Pop Vinyl Figures Hitting Stores

Walgreens Exclusive Funko Pop Case Assortment
Is your spider sense tingling?  If so that could be because you’re in danger of not finding one of the Walgreens exclusive Spider-Man Pop! Vinyl figures!

Last year Funko announced an exclusive wave of their hit Marvel Comics Pop! Vinyl Figures would be coming to Walgreens stores.  Those figures are now hitting, and we have an exclusive look at the case assortment.  Each Walgreens will be getting:

  • 3 Punisher Pop! Vinyl Figures
  • 3 Venom Pop! Vinyl Figures
  • 1 Spider-Man 2099 Pop! Vinyl Figure
  • 1 Black Suited Spider-Man Pop! Vinyl Figure

As Spider-Man is most-recognized, and most profitable, superhero in the world it is odd that his figure would be the scarcest.

This picture comes to us from a Hydra spy who confirmed this case is straight from Funko and not repacked in this ratio by Walgreens’ own warehouse.

In addition to Spider-Man fans, the Pop! Vinyl figures are sought out even by non-comic fans.  The cute appearance of figures has created its own fandom with collectors trying to buy every Pop! Vinyl Funko releases, and some of the rarest have sold for over $250 on eBay.

Will these Spider-Man figures be that rare, or will future case assortments ship more of these wall-crawling varients?  Follow Marvelicious Toys on Facebook and @MarveliciousToy on Twitter to stay abreast of all the latest Marvel collecting news!

Uncle Milton to Release Holocron and new Force Trainer Toys

Uncle Milton - Star Wars Science - The Force Trainer II

Uncle Milton, creator of the innovative Star Wars™ Science brand of toys, is getting ready to challenge aspiring Jedi in a different way. This time, Uncle Milton will be bringing the popular artificial intelligence game of knowledge, 20Q, into the world of Star Wars with the Jedi Holocron. Holocrons are artifacts that hold an indeterminable amount of knowledge, so what better way to bring the Holocron into our world, than with 20Q. Even better, Star Wars™ fans can be part of the creation of this new Star Wars™ Science Jedi Holocron! Just visit 20q.net, click on the Star Wars logo and follow the instructions. Think of any person, place, or thing based on all 6 Star Wars movies and TV series and 20Q will try and guess what you’re thinking. See if you can outsmart the Jedi Holocron! The more times you play, the smarter the artificial intelligence of the Jedi Holocron will become. Look for the Star Wars Science Jedi Holocron on store shelves beginning in Fall, 2015.

In addition, Uncle Milton is also releasing a new version of their very popular Star Wars Force Trainer.

In 2009, one of the most innovative Star Wars toys of all-time was launched–The Force Trainer. This incredible toy enabled fans of all ages to move and control an object with the power of their mind and quickly became a hit with Star Wars fans and the media worldwide. Just as the next generation of Star Wars movies is preparing to launch, Uncle Milton’s Star Wars Science brand is introducing The Force Trainer II: Hologram Experience. The Force Trainer II features new technology being unveiled at CES and gives Star Wars fans the opportunity to harness the power of their mind to move and control hologram images as they perform incredible Jedi feats from Star Wars movies.

With The Force Trainer II, you are the Jedi. Imagine that you could raise an X-wing from the Dagobah swamp just like Luke Skywalker, battle Darth Vader, or build your own lightsaber with just the power of your mind! These magical scenes are re-created through hologram images and a wireless headset with real brainwave sensors that read and interpret your levels of concentration. The more you focus, the more successful you are in moving and controlling the hologram image and successfully completing the Jedi challenge. The hologram images and Jedi challenges come through a companion app included with the purchase of the product and powered by the user’s tablet device which projects these holograms into the unique Jedi themed training base.

There are 10 different Jedi training levels through which fans can advance from Padawan to Jedi Knight to Jedi Master, with instruction and guidance from Jedi Master Yoda. Additional Jedi challenges will also be available for download on updated versions of the app as new Star Wars movies are released. The product is expected to hit retail stores in Fall 2015 with an estimated SRP of $119.99.

“We are very excited to unveil The Force Trainer II: Hologram Experience at CES,” said Ken Malouf, VP of Marketing & Product Management at Uncle Milton. “This toy captures the imagination of aspiring Jedi everywhere as they learn to use and control the power of their own concentration to activate fantastic Star Wars adventures. The combination of this advanced technology, compelling game play, and real science application makes for a truly unique product that fits the spirit of the Star Wars brand.”

Diamond Select Reveals Celebration VI Exclusive Collectible Bank

Information in this article comes from Episode 355 of

With Star Wars Celebration VI coming soon more exclusives are being announced.  Today Diamond Select Toys reveals two exclusive Star Wars banks!  From Diamond Select Marketing Supervisor Zach Oat:

Star Wars Celebration: These Are the Droids You’re Looking For!

If you were a Star Wars fan at San Diego Comic-Con, you probably picked up your vinyl R2-R9 Astromech droid bank by Diamond Select Toys, right? It was limited to 1000 pieces, it’s perfectly in scale to your 1/4 scale Star wars figures, it holds loose change and it was only $20 — what’s not to love? But if you weren’t at Comic-Con this year, fear not. DST put aside a limited number of the R2-R9s and is shipping them clear across the country to Star Wars Celebration in Orlando! Running August 21-23, Celebration 6 will be the last place to get your hands on the popular red droid, as well as pick up a brand-new droid made especially for Celebration! That’s right, C6 will get a special delivery of 100 black R2-Q5 Astromech droids, only available at the show, for the low price of $20 each! Both R2-Q5 and DST’s remaining stock of R2-R9s should go quickly, and DST will also have more of their regular Star Wars banks (including the classic R2-D2), so make the Diamond Select Toys booth (#632) your first stop at the con!
