One of the first new characters to be designed for The Empire Strikes Back, Boba Fett originally began as a super trooper, with a striking aesthetic inspired primarily by Darth Vader and the Stormtroopers. As McQuarrie worked closely alongside Star Wars Art Director Joe Johnston, the character evolved into the ruthless Mandalorian bounty hunter we know today. Capturing the spirit of these early explorations, Fett appears in his original all-white armor with two unique helmet designs, leaping into action over a base inspired by the Slave I. Reviewing a broad spectrum of McQuarrie’s imaginative designs for Boba Fett, Sideshow’s artists have translated his iconic artwork in a brilliant homage to a Star Wars that is both familiar, yet never was.

Pre-Order Alert: Sideshow’s Black Cat by J Scott Campbell
This is one Black Cat you want to cross your path!
It’s been quite some time since Sideshow Collectibles has released a new statue from their J Scott Campbell Spider-Man collection. But now, almost a year since Spider-Man himself went for order, comes the 4th statue in the series — Black Cat!
This statue is based on a print Campbell has sold for several years at conventions, featuring Felicia Hardy, the Black Cat, playing with her favorite ball of yarn–Spider-Man. More, this statue comes in an exclusive edition with an extra accessory–a sculpted cat to rub up against Black Cat’s leather boot!
The statue stands 9-inches high with Black Cat in her crouching pose, and weighs about 8 lbs. It is expected to ship the second quarter of 2016.

Pre-Order Alert: Sideshow Collectibles’ Sentinel Maquette
Last year Sideshow Collectibles released their gorgeous, giant Galactus Maquette. Now they have given Galactus a companion — The X-Men killer Sentinel robot!
